When I was 10 years old, my dad gifted me a small bhārathiyār kavidhaigal book. I had it with me all along. Even though I used to sing all the popular bharathiyar songs, I had only browsed through that book on and off and absorbed few lines here and there. All I knew that MAHĀKAVI SUBRAMANYA BHĀRATHI was a strong personality and spoke firm words, but he stayed dormant with me, in the form of this book.
When my father turned 70, I was wondering what would best suit, as a gift for the special occasion. I casually tuned 1 song thinking of sending that audio on his birthday. But, nature has it’s mysterious ways – I ended up tuning a few more, and hence I decided to showcase the collection with lyrics as a audio – visual presentation, much to the delight of my parents.
